Born in Jones, Isabela near the foothills of the Sierra Madre Mountain ranges and by the Cagayan River,
JIMMY ANCHETA DOMINGO
started taking photos while he was completing civil engineering in Manila during the waning years of the Marcos dictatorship in the 1980s. Using a fully manual camera with 50 mm lens, his first published photos were of anti-Marcos demonstrators being brutally dispersed by state police, in Mr. & Ms. Magazine.

He does editorial and commercial work for local and international corporations with strong corporate social responsibility and contributes to international photo agencies and local newspapers and magazines.

Former chair and now Board member of the PHILIPPINE CENTER FOR PHOTOJOURNALISM, Inc..

His field notes include prose&poetry mostly in Filipino.
